Love Cindy's videos. I watched Reupholstering an Arm Chair over and over. I'm 70, and was able to reupholster a complicated vintage chair with her wonderful help. Thanks so much for these videos. My chair looks beautiful. I saved about $1000 doing it myself.

This video was terrific. I made 4 lovely outdoor throw pillows with piping. Connecting the piping was super easy and much easier than many other tutorials. Next time, i'll make the pillows with piping and a zipper. Cutting the corners properly was very simple. Well done and thank you.

how long should the piping strips be???
@SailriteDIY5 жыл бұрын
Tom Ybarrondo For each throw pillow the piping should be the length of the entire perimeter of the throw pillow plus about 6 to 12 inches extra.

How does someone calculate the the measurement how far down to start the cutting to eliminate the extra fabric to remove the pointed cornors ? There must be a guide or rule of thumb .

When you trim off the corners so they don't poke out, you went 4" in. What would you do for a 26" pillow? One quarter or about 6.5'?

Yes, that should work great!

Can I sew thin fabric in this machine? Is this sewing machine only for thick materials?
@earljmaui_boy25466 жыл бұрын
* * * The machine comes ready for heavy duty fabrics from the factory, since it is designed for that purpose to begin with. The pressure on the fabric being pulled through the machine can be adjusted for lighter materials and lower pressure. The feed dogs and presser feet can also be replaced with teeth that are less likely to mark the fabric permanently... when working with fabrics like leather that can be marred inadvertently. * * * Not quite sure what you mean by 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜...? Silk... probably not... Cottons, lightweight twill, and denim... certainly. * * * Until that time. . .
This video is super informative, at the same time it makes my anxiety go thru the roof. The lady seems stressed and that dude, should just talk to the hand. Man Im hella annoyed now! It’s unfortunate because that lady is a wonderful teacher!
