Your design is very pretty! What is the name of the adhesive pearl border? I really like how it has different sizes of pearls and I've been trying to find it on the hobby lobby website with no luck

this is the second video i see where people use paper, why? why decorate on top of the paper?

Vianey Camela I decided to put the layer of paper down first so that I could start over if I messed up. You can definitely put things directly on the hat, but if you mess up it's a lot harder to cover or correct. Also, the paper I used was textured, so it added another element to the decorations! 😊

Did the design last the entire time? Also what kind of paper did you use? Just any old kind?

Yes! Luckily everything stayed glued on for the entire graduation and it still looks just as good now! I just grabbed some paper from the scrapbooking section at Hobby Lobby.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun decorating mine, although it took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to do. I roamed around Hobby Lobby for a solid hour before I could make a decision haha
