Very cool. Great design. Very versatile. You can hunt any way you want in a set up like that. You could even put some artificial Christmas tree limbs and add a little green to it. Plenty roomy . I’ve seen a Dan Fitzgerald video where he had something similar and they put ripped tree limbs probably 3 inches diameter or so vertical with space in between and it made shooting spaces all around. I think he even had some green limbs on the top to help break it up. Looks great the way you have it though. Nice job. That spot will last for years.

I love the simplicity of your design!!! I live in a rental on ten acres. I also tend to overbuild things and this design is simple enough yet strong enough to where I don't have to invest a ton of time and money to get the job done. Love it man! I hope you are successful in your future hunts!! The dirt on the canvas was also pretty cool.

Hoping to maybe put a little roof over the stand at some point to help keep the rain & snow out, but all in all it's been pretty nice to have... and my niece's & nephew's love playing in it the rest of the year, lol. Best tree stand ever ! Too many stands nowadays are like condos. Not even hunting with roof, heater, insulation and cook stoves. Keep it simple as it should be.

Good job with left over lumber. I am a bit spoiled with a Muddy Blinds but what you did certainly blends in. I have two high end blinds near my barn that are good in any weather. However, a few stands like yours in the woods would be great when the deer are more in the woods after the first few days of hunting.

Nice stand, camo cloth or netting around the top would make a decent wind break, good chair, umbrella and you're set

Hey Paul, camo netting would be great! I think at the time I was low on funds, 🤪. Maybe with the camo netting I would've been a bit more successful this past season, lol! Hey IBH, hope all is well... Nothing yet out of the stand, but I've seen a ton from up there. Let a few go & this year I've only sat a few times while I'm trying to finish up a couple projects before the winter really hits us. Hoping that in the future it ends up being a good spot all around.
