Holy cow. I think this is the first time I've seen a youtuber do a DIY video using the full-measure, instead of a series of "time saving" tricks that make the DIY look cute for a video but wouldn't last any period of time. That and your orchids look healthy and thriving instead of staged for a camera. Way to go - seriously impressed. Plus, I'm in love with your sense of style. Subbed.

Having a flashback! You and your viewers are too young to remember. Plants in macrame hangers were all the rage in the early 70's. I made dozens of them. They are really addictive once you get started. And the plants are really good for cleaning the air in your house. The hangers got really elaborate and people even started making macrame lamps and vests, hair decorations, jewelry, wall hangings, window coverings. Your projects all look lovely and you do such nice, simple, clear explanations.

For the spray adhesive with porous and non-porous surfaces - spray both what you're adhering and what you're adhering it to, wait about 5-10 seconds until the surfaces are tacky, then stick it down. Should work better. Love these!

Hi Christine, this really is one of the best DIY videos I have come across! I have seen lots of these projects done online, but you have done such a fantastic job here - keeping it to the point and making it very easy to follow. I love the idea, but I personally liked it better before you put the gold paint on it. I guess I just like natural things better. I have a slab of marble I can use to do this. Thanks for the idea! The macramé pot hanger at the end was nice. I used to make so many things out of cord using the knots. I may have to pick that up again. It was so popular in the 70's, I'm glad it's making a comeback.
