Charles is on an epic journey across Ecuador on a tight budget and using public transportation to visit some of its best attractions in Quito including, Old Town, Independence Plaza, Conception Church, San Francisco Church, Virgin of Quito El Panecillo, Middle of the World, Intiñan Solar Museum and picking up deals at Nuveo Amanecer Commercial Market. We'll also feature Guayaquil's Seminario Park, Metropolitan Cathedral, Malecón 2000 and Las Penas. Puerto Lopez's Plata Island and experiencing snorkelling, the fish market and Machalilla National Park's Los Frailes Beach and White Water community. Also trying out paragliding and surfing in Montañita, Baños' famous treehouse swing, ziplining, and rafting, and Devil's Cauldron Waterfall. As well, trekking Amazon Rainforest in Puyo to see Wayuri tribe and Cacao farm. Otavalo's world famous ponchos market, Pablo Lake, traditional woodcarvings in San Antonio de Ibarra and Cuicocha crater lake in Cotacachi. As well trying out many traditional food including Cuy guinea pigs, Corviche fish cake, canelazo traditional drink and churro.

Can you please tell me how many days you took for the trip and also is it feasible to do a 2 weeks trip to Ecuador(including all the places in the video) and galapogas islands? Also, is it advisable to go with a tour from US, Canada or should I just go and take the tours to say Amazon after I reach Ecuador? I'd really appreciate your feedback, thanks.

Charles Huang Thanks for your reply. I agree then, no tours will be needed. But then what about the tours you took to the amazon rainforest in Puyo and with the tour with tribes there? Can you get it easily from Baños or Quito after you reach there? Also is it okay if you don’t know Spanish?
