The fact you can use other batteries with just the use of an adapter is a win.

That's a cool looking polisher! Ivan and Nick really look like they hit it out of the park with that machine. Good gosh! Ivan's years of experience and wealth of knowledge in the way of polishing and polishing more efficiently has really shined through with the development of that machine with where to put the battery and the overall balance of the machine. Sure, it looks different, but sometimes different ideas spawn innovation and needed change over "the way it's always been done". That's amazing on the price too and for a machine that probably has more power than the other competitor brands who have years more experience making polishers than DIY. I think DIY has but the industry on notice. I challenge them to make a more innovative polisher, at least for this year. Ivan and Nick at the DIY Team should get an award for that polisher design.

Thank you. FYI I’ve been doing R&D on power tools since the 80’s.

@@diydetailofficialLooks like you have a winner there Ivan! When is a innovative mini polisher joining your line up? Take what you've learned from this machine and also the Lake Country UDOS and combine it into a game changing mini polisher worthy of the DIY name!

That price point isn’t bad at all for cordless. Now this is definitely something I’m interested in. The battery placement makes sense to me but I haven’t used a cordless before lol

@@serranosmobile on the flipside, I use some pressure when he suggests no pressure. I will also use higher than spped 3 but never speed 6. It all comes down to what works for each individual, right? :)
