My wife just walk in and gave me The Look, and if you don't know what that is count yourself as one of the lucky ones! 🤨 What a Room! Think people would pay for some listening time! Great Job!!

There is no sunstitute for having your own listening room no matter what the chosen format.

Very nice! It would be most interesting to see acoustic measurements of the room before and after specific treatments.

Wow, nice job. Love the ceiling diffusers.

Diffusion is a technology to make a small room sound larger.

That is pretty amazing. I can only imagine the cost. Enjoy

That half round poly diffuser on the front wall has to drive Dennis nuts!
@AcousticFields9 ай бұрын
A poly diffuser is not a true diffusor. It is a sound redirection device. It is best to stay with using all redirection or all quadratic on surface areas.

Nice work. I'm entering my own modest path for room treatment and have learned a lot from these videos. I won't be going this far but will definitely deal with front wall (glass) and first reflections to start. Thanks

Don't forget about the secondary and tertiary reflections. These are equally important.

Room acoustics requires a dedication to detail. To obtain room resolution, you must resolve numerous distortions.

You talk about bass pressure, surely two 6.5" drivers would not be a problem in this size room. Do you usually use these small speakers? or do you have larger speakers larger? Nice job, I bet Denis is happy too!
@AcousticFields2 жыл бұрын
A 40 hz. wave is 28' long no matter if is produced by a 6 1/2" driver or a 24" driver. The energy placed within our rooms must be governed by physics. Physics is the law. Everything else is just a suggestion.
@Campbell1.2 жыл бұрын
@@AcousticFields Thank you Denis, so a 6 1/2" driver playing at say 20 watts @ 40Hz has the same energy as a 24" driver at 20 watts @ 40Hz, given that the two speakers are the same dB rating! in the same room.

great looking room. Congrats! What speakers did you order?

You converted the dedicated dining room into this? Your WAF is legendary! Well done! PS, what speakers are you going with. The wait time seems like maybe Tekton?
