Hi silly question when you 'brush in' the micro powder ...does it work with All different micro powder? thank you your work is out of this world

Yes, with the fine powders, think eyeshadow, you rub it in with a brush.

I was literally holding my breath the whole time you were using the mica powders. Always use a fine particles mask whenever you work with Micas because they're not good for your lungs and once you breathe them in they're never coming out! Please be safe! I think you would have had better luck if you had used a denser brush like an eyeshadow brush (a pointed crease brush and/or one of the shorter bristle smudger/smokey eye brushes - shader brushes? Not 100% on what they're called - are fantastic for getting into all the little nooks and crannies of the moulds and the denser bristles make it easier to blend the powder onto the mould instead of spreading it around first) and instead of pouring your Micas over the mould just gently dip the tip of the brush in the powder. You can sometimes just use what collects on the lid - it goes a lot further than you think it will, you just go in and do little circle movements with the brush so you minimise streaks. When you think you're done, angle it into different light and it will show any patchy bits that may need a little more powder. This turned out really pretty though and I've had this exact mould for a while now. Can you please tell me how much resin you needed for each cover? I'm not too bothered about having a bit too much as I have a bunch of moulds I can use any excess in, but I don't want to fall short and have half a cover setting up while I try to mix the rest! 😂 Thanks for a great video. Hope that my tips help you to save some wasted mica powders (they're too pretty to waste!) and a little money and also help you be safer with your materials.
