When drilling with a hole saw, try to drill a hole inside the plug so the sawdust will have a place to go. This way you'll get less smoke, especially from the drill!

That is why I always use a wired drill for heavy duty hole saw usage. You'll torque your arm off before the drill burns out.

Brushless XR drills and the corresponding batteries are a great improvement. I fabricate metal electronic control panels and use their tools regularly over the last few years and have no isuue. typically 1/4 inch steel

Great thinking on the drain access point, I'm sure they will prove useful. Occurs to me that if you wanted to drain an individual tote, you could pump directly to it's own overflow as well

I thought I had a lot of plumbing on my 600g and frag system! Lol... Those totes and the way there are plumbed look great Cory. People don’t realize it takes awhile to prep plan the design. You probably bought out the local Home Depot of plumbing parts. 😁 having Dean & Joel there with their knowledge really helps out.

Bought out a few stores of street 1 inch 90s lol. It helps to have a good brain trust around. We can get through a problem much faster, when 2-3 people are around who have all built fish rooms before and experienced different situations.

If you don't want your drill to overheat with a hole saw, you can run the hole saw in reverse. This way, it puts less strain on the drill and it still cuts a hole

as long as your drain is below the starting point and above the end point your drain is good small fluctuations wont hurt it a bit
