You saved my pouches! I had sewn almost entire pouch and realized I hadn't fed the string through correctly! So I cut my seam and watched your video...I was able to fix the problem with your help!! These are great recyclable gift bags to make for special gifts at Christmas!

My first successful project with a sewing machine! I made a pouch to be a dice bag as a birthday gift to a dear friend of mine. The first attempt was really clumsy, but I tried again and it looks pretty good! Thank you for this amazing tutorial! Maybe now I will have more confidence for other projects!

These pouches are so useful as you can use them for a number of things.Easy to pop in your drawer for to scent it, put a bar of soap in!!!So many uses and saves time as you can see them at a glance.If you go on Debbie Shore videos , excellent. I am so happy I came upon your video. I watched another one first that had so many measurements that had to be done first, it was confusing. This is so simple and easy to do. Just fold down the tops like flaps. Thank you so much for an easier and quicker way to make this bag. You are wonderful!

The way you show us makes it easy. No one could ever get it through my head when I was young because they used words I didn’t understand. If I had learned from someone that calls the thread whiskers etc I would have got it. Words like seam allowance for a beginner looses you as the student isn’t explained what the words mean. You would be a great teacher. The bags are so darling and easy. 👍🏻

I did these for gifts. That way I didn’t have to use paper. Plus little girls enjoy them for play. I use plain black and navy blue for boys gifts. They put army men and figures in them. Others just reuse them. I like your draw string idea Berger I made mine way to complicated. Lol

Aw thanks, I learnt that trick from my sewing teacher. you can actually buy a proper tool to use for it but the safety pin is just as good x
