DIY Drawstring Tank Top/ Pattern Available

In this thrift flip/upcycle tutorial I transform thrifted skirts into drawstring tank tops. I bring you a step by step tutorial on making this drawstring top as seen on my tik tok. I bought the patttern and kind of confusing. The pattern states to not overlap but you need to overlap with how the pattern prints having cutoffs? do you need to add additional seam allowance to the pattern or is it already included?
