Not properly addressing the cracks is kind of a big deal. From an artistic perspective it looks great but maybe repair cracks, do a heavier base coat then spray texture.

I agree with you, not sure why they never ground the cracks out and repaired them first, lets the job down.

And that's the second thing that struck me watching this. Coulda made the cracks 'disappear' with the overlay product once they were taken care of. Otherwise, decent upgrade. Looks nice.

Would a second coat have made it look finished? It looks like parts of it have worn away after years of aging instead of a new install.
@KickButtMarketing2 жыл бұрын
I think they addressed that implying it provides a better non slip surface. That said and despite them applying a water based sealer to it afterwards, I suspect the old concrete will in due time begin to show dirt build up. Re pressure washing and getting it all cleaned might prove challenging in terms of not losing the surface treatment and having areas where it simply let loose.

this looks amazing but why didn't you do solid black strips, instead of leaving some of the concrete showing through? is that to blend it, or in case some comes off in the future - also regarding the cracks, how long before they appear again in your experience?

I am assuming this would not be recommended in any areas that are exposed to freezing temperatures. I have customers in Pennsylvania that request this type of thing outside all the time, I won’t even install them. They typically find another contractor to do it and then call me when it fails to ask what to do.

Would applying the fixing coat with a roller be to expensive? That sprayer doesn’t seem to apply evenly! Noticed that in another video also... I don’t understand why the multiple cracks were left as is!! 🤔... I also think, as others did that it turned out looking like a commercial parking lot... Would’ve had a more modern look had more horizontal black lines been added... The house being trimmed in black...I presume this look was what the customer demanded..🤷♀️ That was a lot of time & manpower invested in something that seems half done. All in all... _Legarri_ did a good job, assuming this is what the customer wanted... No point in arguing with some people’s taste, is there!!!😏 Btw... That looped music was too loud & stressful... Quite annoying really! 😖
