Radio waves act like light so if you place a light where the antenna would be, you could adjust the bend in the reflector to get the most light out. Also keep the reflectors pointing more toward the drone instead of the sky might help. Thanks for the experiment.

super fine grit sand paper and make it shine like glass. polish it. plus i thought it was to circular. needs to be opened alittle then youll get your 10 percent. just a thought

How did you calculate the radius.This is parabolic mirror and the radus of banding the reflector is the most importing thing ,to reflect most of the signal back to the drone dipole

That's not a parabolic reflector its just a cylindre,for DIY you can try windsurfer works great.

allumenium can be used as a parabolic reflector. In fact, most parabolic reflector are made out of allumenium. Greatly effective
