I can tell from how the PRs are moving this thing has monsterous bass. That wiring is complete hell though you have to have some sort of background in electrical engineering to wire all that up properly. The LEDs are amazing for a diy project

Awesome build! I once built a new Speaker out of my old Bose Soundlink MK1 with also two passive sub speakers. I guess you should have chosen a stiffer material for the back plate than thin MDF. Because it reduces the efficiency of the passives speakers. Anyways awesome work!

Finally, a video with a homemade bluetooth speaker that is not a stupid clickbait content. This one really looks amazingly decent! In my opinion, the passive radiators should've been a tad bigger, since they seem to struggle a bit with the presure generated by the active driver. High volume with that can get sound distorted or weird noises. Other than that, excellent job, seems the amp inside can handle the speakers very well. Amazing attention to details too! why is the speaker housing divided in half ?why not as a whole ? Im curious how it sounds compared to a bought speaker.

Thanks, yes the PR´s could be bigger, i had 4" inch ones that i could use but ended using the 3"inch ones, i used the same compartment for both speakers in other videos, for this one i was undecided and used separate compartments, comparing to other speakers i don´t know but i really like the sound of this one, it has a good bass response and the tweeters/high frequencies are very clear.

Heyy @DTeK. Nice project. Try adding weight to the bass radiators. They are jumping quite a bit, adding weight will(should) make speaker play better at low frequencies!

a habit that i have when soldering is i always use the iron to activate the heat shrink. its very direct and easy to manage as well as just being faster than a lighter.
