Nice to see you make the parts I've already seen. The strange bolt heads are called triple hex, and are a favourite of VW and Audi.

Yeah, I've sen them on Audi's too. I suspect they are silly expensive to make which would be typical of VW group.

If you ever think about rebuilding the battery box in the boot floor, think about taking the fish tank box out of the mule and counter sinking it into the battery box in the boot. That will give the 2 spaces as one and give other options to mount the batteries. Nice work tho, cant wait to see it on the road

I dumped the fishtank out of the mule so I don't have it anymore. 😕 I'm happy that the current setup at the back of the car is as good as I can do without starting again. In theory there should be room for modules where the exhaust back box was but I don't think I need it. Using the fuel tank box also moves around 50kg forward by over a metre which should help balance the car better too.

Hopefully I won't need to do that as it would invalidate insurance should I be unlucky enough to have an accident.
