Which fabric stiffener DIY is best for sewing clothes?
I tested DIY recipes for:
-cornstarch fabric stiffener
-gelatine fabric stiffener
-glue fabric stiffener
Each stiffener was applied to a piece of lightweight rayon fabric.

Can i use this to stiffen my hoodie its kinda old and the hood of my hoodie doesn't stand up like when i fold it doesn't stand up

@@mintzz-l3i These stiffeners are meant to be washed out. So, yes, they would make the hood stand up, but the good would stop standing up when you washed out the stiffener. You might want try an iron-on (fusible) interfacing, which gives fabric body but doesn't wash away. Good luck.
