In this video, I share a start to finish process, how to, DIY craft tutorial using Arteza Art Supplies to create Farmhouse Style Wood Tags for home décor.
My projects are always designed for your home, a gift or to sell, often using mixed media techniques, papercrafting/sewing/wood supplies, usually upcycling/recycling or turning trash into treasure, incorporating a Shabby Chic or Farmhouse/Rustic theme and hopefully all with easy to follow voice-over instructions at a "fast forward" pace!

You come up with some of the beautiful ideas!! I'm thinking I "might" have those wood words! I didn't get any of the DT tag shapes, because I thought, nah, I don't know what i would use them for ...and yet here we are, wishing I had at least 2. Lol I could probably cut some out of hardboard or luan though. I need to get over to Arteza & see about entering! Who doesn't love free craft supplies? Thank you for sharing your talent!

Thank you Heather! I am using a liquid glue by Beacon...I usually use Fabri Tac or Fabri Fix. The Fabri Fix I only find at Hobby Lobby but the other can be found at all the main craft stores and I even find it at our Walmart. You’ll need a coupon with the main craft stores...they like to charge way too much for it 😜. Hugs!

I'm fairly new to crafting, what kind of paper did you use?

Hello Heather! Hopefully I can help! I usually use scrapbook paper from a couple of paper lines and some in-store product as well…what I mean is, the loose paper you can buy single sheets at a time, like at Hobby Lobby in their scrapbook section. I love paper lines like Prima Marketing Inc or Die Cuts With A View, or Tim Holtz or 49 and Market. You can find some of these brands in store as well like Hobby Lobby or Joann’s and of course online at somewhere like Scrapbook.com. The first and easiest thing to do may be to go in one of the stores, ask where the paper crafting aisle is and just find the one with all the papers, especially the single sheets and just browse them, see what you like, what patterns and colors that appeal to you and buy a few sheets and try following one of my tutorials and see how you like it. Then you can browse the part of the aisle with all the paper pads…usually these pads have 48 sheets of different designs. I usually like to get 12x12 inch papers and cut them down, but there are also 8x11 inch papers, 6x6 inch papers. I do buy the 8x11 as well. These are fun cuz you get so many designs in one bundle. I hope I don’t sound too beginner, but just trying to get you a glimpse of starting out. If it’s too beginner, let me know. If you need more information, don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you Cherri!. The word stickers are by Tim Holtz. They can be found in any paper Craft section at Joann’s, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or you can do a google search for Tim Holtz word stickers. It will bring up all he has done. Hope this helps! Many blessings! 😃
