I have SO much jewelry that I do not wear anymore and wanted some hair jewelry for when I braid my hair- this is perfect! All I need is some more E6000. Thank you!!

Hi! I can’t wait to do this with my Daughter! I’m on my way to Michael’s (for the E6000), and then the .99 Superstore (for bobby pins and toothpicks), then Goodwill for a misc., bag of jewelry to take apart and turn into hair pieces. Thanks for the ideas!

I'm so inspired! I have boxes full of my deceased mothers jewelry that I love and can't bear to part with, but I can't wear it for various reasons. This is an excellent solution to be able to wear and show off those pieces! Can't wait to get to it

I was looking for j sorta ruin for some old brooches and jewelry to repurpose into hair accessories. Thanks love the bees! The hair pins are Goody brand Bobby slides part of the colour collection for blond hair. No longer available at target.

Those look really cute on you. I want to do the same for putting my hair up during the summer heat. I want to create some little hair pins for that purpose. Thank you!

Can you do one with snap clips or alligator clips? My dominant arm is broken and I have a really hard time with Bobby pins.

A Cabachon is a Stone that usually has no holes and you wrap it with wire and make a pendant or bracelet etc . Nice job

very well done! I like how you plan ahead as you are preparing each piece. Side note: for styling, the wavy side is against the scalp (holds hair better this way). - I did it "wrong" for years before I found out! =-O HUGS!

Even after 6 years this is so relaxant. I have a ton of vintage pieces I can use. If u remember what brand the pins were would love to know. I’ve looked everywhere for the more decorative ones. Can’t find them. If u remember the brand please let us know!

Fun video. I'd like to know how to affix beads and such to hair stick pins, the kind shaped like a long U.

Generally you call those brass pieces filligrees or stampings or filigree stampings. you can bend them and do all kinds of cool things.

for the pineapples you could've tried filling it with hot glue instead so that you don't use up a lot of E6000

Aren't you sticking them on the wrong side of the bobbypin? The wavy side is supposed to be facing your scalp for extra grip...

how does e6000 glue smell like? does it smell like superglue?
@chappythime846910 жыл бұрын
I have e6000 and it smells a lot like plastic(those cheap ones that smell really strong) and superglue(that odd sweet smell is kinda there). Just make sure your room is ventilated and it shouldn't be too bad.
@Katrinaosity10 жыл бұрын
It smells like creativity, and magic. Properly ventilate.
@vivcrimson10 жыл бұрын
it doesn't smell like that when you suffer from migraines. with/without ventilation. unfortunately. thanks for your answers anyway guys!
