you are my favorite utuber , you can make anything work and beautiful too. man if you two lived close to me you guys would be hired to help me do some things and you could film it AND I would cook for you too!!! lol, haha no really, you would be surprised at what I can get done by offering my brownies, chicken and dumplings and all my cakes!!! I love how the fireplace came out looks so much better than before. I've never seen a tv mount like that before you usually see the ones that pull out and move side to side but never seen them pull out and goes down that's cool. I have to remember this so whenever we move and we put the tv over the fireplace I know what to get thanks so much looking forward to your next video!

Wow! This is such a beautiful transformation! I think it's awesome how your husband was on board with the plans and helped out. He has lots of cool toys! Also it's great that he wore eye protection. That's a constant struggle with my husband!!! He's Shawnee and has very high cheekbones that cause his glasses to fog up, then they slip down his nose. Can't win!!! LOL! One last thing, you do not look old enough to have that age of a little girl! You look good, honey! Hermosisima!

Yammi, the pioneers of old would use that same limewash on the log cabins on the iside (if they had the money) , it helped keep timber free of bugs and most importantly the light inside was helpful when you only had fire light or candles. it seems funny how most people don't know that it was considered so rich to limewash your cabin, now everyone just wants that natural look. and the old real farmhouses used it as well.

It is gorgeous. I need Nelson to come to Ohio to finish the trim on my log house. Hubby and I built it from scratch ( even cut our logs) and it still doesn't have doors or windows trimmed! Only been 12 years! 😏

Oh my goodness Yami...you & Nelson do amazing work! Yall's work is very professional! Your fireplace looks amazing! We put our TV over our fireplace as well but I can not figure out how to cover the cords to the tv...our brick goes all the way to the ceiling! Ugh! We have outlets @ the bottom of the fireplace to the left & the right side. I want to paint the gold insert of the fireplace silver or black...I'm not sure yet what color..so thank you for the tips on how to do that, I appreciate you. My colors in my living room are grey & white. Plus, we have gorgeous shelves & cabinets on both sides of the fireplace. What do you think I should paint the insert? Great inspiration to attack my fireplace. It's a horror. It's been painted over and over. My home was built in 1886 approximately. The wood must have been beautiful. I'm in the process of restoring my banister, this is on hold until warmer weather due to the fumes from the stripper. I also want to build a wood chunky mantel as you've done. I do have very high ceilings, so I don't face some of the issues you encountered. I'll send you a before and after when I do get to it. The banister from hell has to be done before I move on to anything else..lol. Thanks for making it "doable" for us with hesitations.
