I bought 3, wall mounting "Broom Handle" Holders from Temu. double spring loaded ball clips, 4 on each rack so good for 12 Rods in total (3 racks) they also have 4 swing up & down coat hooks on each rack. (mounting screws and wall plugs included) Less than £5 each UK.

Nice job... just one thought: you could still bump a rod and the tip could pop out and fall, the handle might keep it from hitting the floor... but you might consider putting a couple of small screws on each side of the opening and putting a rubber band across it just to be safe.

Thought about a nail too. Drilling a hole and sliding a nail in to hold it.
