You have given me so many ideas. I look forward to your videos and enjoy the happy/funny way you express yourself. I plan to build a couple of these in a 12 R&R config. Idea I recently came up with while trying to decide what to do with some old lead cast net weights. Got a pack of 6" steel leaders, slid the ounce a piece weights over the swivel and put a split ring on to hold them in place. The clip end is great for putting on a Carolina rig at the swivel, and you can adjust them from 2-5 oz. I got 40 or so weights off the net and will be making a bunch!

@@FishinNStuff something I forgot with the chair leg caps you can also balance a rod with washers or coins. Just put the in the cap before you put it on the handle. Ain't gonna fix a badly tip heavy rod but it can fine tune.

LoL right? Keith's videos are all geared towards people that like to make things on their own, and do it as cheaply as possible. He does a good job at trying to show the simplest and cheapest ways to get it done. As someone that enjoys making things, I often make things because I can't find what I really want, or can't afford what's already made. And then even if I can afford it, I don't wanna pay ridiculous prices, so knowing I can do it just as good or better, for a fraction of the cost, I'll do it myself! 😃 I totally get what you're saying though. I wish I had between $7000 and $8000 just to spend on 24 rods and reels. 24 Hellcats over $3k, 24 Abu reels $4k-4800 depending on which one you get. And that's all before even paying tax 😳😳😳
@FishinNStuff2 жыл бұрын
Your right I could buy it but why waist money on PVC when I could save it for Rods lol . Honestly I've had alot of good reels for years and always used Ugly stick . I also had 4 whisker seekers . But I really wanted some Hellcats so I just saved money and got em . I have a buddy that has some nice gear , and he just bought one the other day and he told me he wants to sell his others now lol . I make a little off KZbin and work full time so I'm not rich by any means

Cool idea for a rod rack. I can't help to wonder why in the world would you need 24 of the same kind of fishing pole lol? I guess when you go fishing you go to really do some fishing lol
@FishinNStuff2 жыл бұрын
We can use as many as we want . I've collected alot of reels over the years and I was wanting a set with big hooks 9/0 and 10/0 . Then rig some for eater size catfish and hybrid . Some states only let you use 4 rods , in NC we generally use 10 to 12 rods in catfish tournaments . When I fished bass tournaments I would use 4 to 6 rods so I never had to change lures lol
@carloscalvo95672 жыл бұрын
If I had the floor space I would totally do this! I wonder though if you could flare out the pvc and then plasti dip the tips of the pvc it so it doesn’t potentially rub off the foam with the sharp pvc edges.
