Better watch them fingers when nailing your pieces together. Only takes one of those super thin nails to catch a peace of wood grain wrong and though your finger it goes. I learned that lesson the hard way

The amount you add will actually vary depending on how thick the wood is. When you measure how much material you need, you need to account for the thickness of the frame (because the frame is wider than the actual picture). So you need to add the corners that your mitres add to the thickness. I couldn't think of a clearer way to explain that in writing so I hope it makes sense

Never put your hand over where you are shooting the brad nail. I have had them come out of the wood into my hand before.

Under $10 for both frame 😮 In the UK, wood is so expensive. I bought 12, 1 meter sticks, each just 0.5cm wide. It cost me over £40 so about $55.
