Insanely fast. I’m getting there but definitely held back by the abilities of my current boards, but hopefully my new DIY AWD board will get close to those speeds. I’ve been messing around with set-ups and found that having a very agile front end and reversing my rear trucks around for stability is the ticket for ideal handling.

@@wiggpickle oh, sweet. Have you tried Stooge trucks? Any thoughts on using those in your setup?
@wiggpickle2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've tried them. They're a great system that's always being improved upon. For short track, they're perfect. For my style of riding (long distance high speed), I don't prefer them.
@sageoz9886 Жыл бұрын
I’ve a short video (a better one to come) on my channel where I show how to achieve next level handling. Basically I’m reversing my rear trucks. Still stiff bushings so only around twenty degrees total movement, but it’s on a Waterborne rail adapter system which allows a lot of lean angle. The fronts I use the Waterborne surf adapter and/or Major Arc trucks which allow a huge amount of agility. The waterborne adapter is very stable being a trailing link especially with heavy bushings, but it has huge maneuverability. Major Arc trucks on front are my favorite since they have built in Ackerman and are very nimble for such a low ride height.
