You might believe changing things is tough, but even slight tweaks can work great for your face complexion. Remember to drink ample water. Keep a 1L bottle nearby and aim to complete it. Once it's done, top up it and drink another liter. If you can handle more, that's great! If your complexion is very dry or oily, try using litlextra riceeberry face wash. Once or twice a day should be sufficient. It has water from black rice which gives good glow to skin. Don't neglect to moisturise before bed, according to what works right for your skin. Give to squeeze in some exercise, regardless of whether it's just 10-15 minutes. If you're busy working, take a brisk walk to the bus stop and back. If you can, utilize a treadmill. After, hydrate, freshen up, have breakfast, and start your day. It is important to stay happy and eat well. Choose foods like daals, spinach, carrot and orange juice, and yogurt. These are everyday foods that can help you feel good. And don't worry if you feel dull during bad weather - it occurs to everyone.

Your formulations & video productions are just beautiful. I've been thoroughly entertained and in awe since I found your channel last week. I was wondering if you've ever had a go at making a AHA body lotion, like the Alpha line? Us approaching-middle-age-women are ALL about it these days. I'd love to learn how to make it myself...or rather, I'd love to watch you make it, then keep adding ingredients to my cart all the while lacking the confidence to actually give it a go myself. ;) Thanks TaraLee!

on makingcosmetics.com where I purchased the glycolic acid it says "For making a 10% AHA peel, use about 14.5% of glycolic acid" so I just divided 14.5 by 10, which equals 1.45. then multiplied 1.45 by 7 which equals 10.15. so that is how I got 10.15% :)

Hey Tara, I just finished trying to make this and I don't know where I went wrong well other than using sci instead of Aos 40, but my pH was so off like it was reading 14 ( pH strips) and I figured it couldn't have been that bad just coz of 1 ingredient. Any idea what could have happened? I did everything even made the pH buffer solution.

Please can you teach how to know the percentage of Aha and BHA to use depending on the purity of the ingredient? I have 86% lactic acid, if I use 5% of it. It doesn’t mean I’m actually using 5% because it’s been diluted. So how do I get exact 5%? If anyone can help. Please Same with glycolic and salicylic acid
@roopashree92173 жыл бұрын
If glycolic acid is 70% active and we want 7 percent concentration in our toner, then 100/70=1.42857143 Multiple the answer with how much percent we want Say we want 7 percent concentration. 1.42857143*7=10 We need to add 10% glycolic acid to get 7% concentration in the toner.

Why not just mix the ordinary glycolic toner with sudsing soap base?
@TaraLeee2 жыл бұрын
Because that would disrupt the formula. Salicylic acid is an extremely sensitive ingredient and needs to be in a specific pH level. You can’t just mix a finished product with another finished product.
