Don't tell people to use 13 mm wrench on these nuts. They are 1/2 inch and a 13 mm will round the head.

I could be wrong but I believe Ford changed to metric in the 70s on all models, either way I would use a six-point rather than a 12 just to be safe either half or a 13 mm

I bought a starter for my F-150 XLT 351 Windsor. The starter I bought from NAPA has a lead wire on it. I have no idea how to hook it up or where it even goes. Any ideas?

You got the top bolt wrong supposed to go in the back trust me will keep coming loose that way.

thank you for indicating the bolt size. I'm pulling the starter from my '97 F53 chassis RV with 460 7.5l engine. Bolts are on opposite sides and the top one from the rear is kicking my behind...
