Absolutely gorgeous and so elegant. I watch a lady that took the mould and made wine bottle toppers by doing them 2d I guess you call it. She cast one and when she do a second casting she laid down a wire , put the cured one on top. Using the wire she adhered it into bottle stopper. It was so beautiful.

I am loving this new collection! It's the mould that makes the clear resin frosted or mat because the mould is a mat finish. It will always need a top coat or gloss coat to make it clear. In order to get the resin crystal clear you need glossy / shiney mould.

I have used clear resin for a long time, and it is the type of material the mold is made with that causes the cloudiness. You can use a cost topcoat to get it clear.

Love all of them , I just ordered from you and was wondering if they were able to be joined and you answered this in video so thanks for that and all the ideas , can’t wait for order to arrive 😛 oh why have I never thought of the cotton trick for tying on thick ribbons ,🎀 ty Also on one of my other moulds I have that don’t have hole for hanger ,I pour the resin then add looped wire to where I want hanger , when dry you have a loop for ribbon or something to attach the tassel cap.

It's the fine texture of the mold. There is a product out there to clear the out. Maybe brush on UV resin

Just spray or paint clear gloss varnish over the top of the frosted tappers and they will go crystal clear.

I just bought these molds and was trying to figure out how to make hanging ornaments, and like magic you said "tassel cap"! I haven't received to molds yet, and I suppose it DOES make a difference if the casting medium is light clay or resin (new to both of them) so I was wondering if you could tell me a ball-park size I should be looking for to use for hanging?

OMG Erin Genius I tell you these are absolutely brilliant - will definitely need to try this. I just watched Ellen J Goods she painted clear gloss over the top to get the crystal clear look. I would never have thought to use the boyle resin - I used it to cover moulds in trays that I made for mothers day.. What is the name of the other resin you are going to try?
