Until this past week i haven't used my 06 gti's for 6 years. I took them and both seemed sluggish. One stopped running. After seeing this filter change i am going to do it. Thank you for a very informative show. Where are you, so luck y to have your own dock. Awesome!

Be real careful bro he leaves a lot of important stuff out like how to get the electrical connections off from the pump things like that very deceiving and I never saw him take the sleeve out so this guy's doesn't have a very good video

@@daveschmelling962 im 100 percent sure that the battery would be disconnected. Otherwise there would be no video. Hes just highlighting the important parts.

thank you sir for let us know about the internal filter . it is a way to get it by just pushing the 3 clips and slides right out 👏did it today hope this fix my problem yesturday me and a friend went to ride jetski for it some reason was no power works fine at first but 30min later no power 😢

Thanks for the great how to sir! Can you explain what tool you used to remove the glove box "case"? I am having issues removing the rivets.

Drill the head of the rivit off with a drill bit about the same size as the rivet shank diameter. You don't have to drill deep, just enough to remove the head.

I have a 2005 seedoo rxt. When I turn it on my jet ski it shows low fuel sensor. It keeps peeping and doesn’t allow me to have full power when riding. It has a full tank.

When you reinstalled the glove box did you use rivets, if so where did you find the rivets

I used slightly larger screws where I drilled out the rivets as I didn't have a rivet gun just for anyone who's in the same predicament ?

You don’t need to drill. The top comes off

I tried doing it without drilling the rivets, no luck as the filter was stuck and there’s no way of really tugging the pump out was much easier job by removing the rivets and the bottom plate

@@USxNightStalker push the plastic tabs in, pop the pump out, disconnect the electric clips and pull the center out. No need to drill. Put it back the way you found it. Some times you need long tweezers to get the inner filter out of the housing.
