DIY Full Cover Nail Tips - How I do my nails

This is how I attach full cover nail tips to my short flat natural nails. Using Gel Foundation as the "glue" and cover with a gel base nail polish color.

I would get a mini lamp to flash cure so it will not burn in the lamp

No. I always put on a new set

You can back fill these if you want. Vs doing a new set every time. Both work

No, I haven't had any issues. I try to wipe it down as best as possible.

That's true. Though my natural nail is flat I need more product regardless because otherwise it won't stay on. I've tried to do less product and they don't stay on for more than 5 days.

@@creatingwithyana have you tried to use one of those builder gels as the glue instead? They're supposed to be good for that sort of thing. I'm going to try my first set this week! Yours are really pretty.

Way way too much gel inside that nail. If you put just a little brush wipe off on the end this is enough. That's why Iz burns too, too much product. Otherwise nice job Xo
