Just replaced mine on my own. Pretty cool. Just keep yourself out of the way of the winding rods when putting tension o the springs. But it works great and I got it balanced perfectly. KZbin is great to use for resource

I had a customers dad die from trying to do a spring he tried to use a long screwdriver it came out while winding hit him he feel off ladder busted his head and died in the garage we then had to work on the same door iv been doing service and installation for over 20 years now iv seen some ppl do great jobs replacing and then some not so much but after watching a few of your videos I think im gonna start doing my own videos what kinda set up do you use im sure a go pro but with what a head band

Only answer is to call a guy for the garage door. I think this would be the only acceptable way. The tension is wild on those springs.
