With the gold leaf, how does that fare outdoors? I noticed you said you thought about sealing the wood before gold leaf but would that seal helped to make it stick better? Awesome project.

I. Robles I’m honestly not sure how it would fare on the wood outdoors. I have another gold leaf project outside and it’s holding up well.. but that’s on a terra cotta pot. As for the sealing, I do believe it would help since the adhesive wouldn’t have the opportunity to soak into the wood. If I were to do it again, I would seal, adhere the gold lead and seal again. 🤗
