Did you use glue on the ladders? Screws don't have alot of tensile strength, which means that you are using the screws to hold all weight that the steps of the ladder will take when someone stands on them. Glue will give more strength to the joint. Screws have alot of squeezing strength pulling the two pieces together. If no glue, it really shouldn't be too tough to unscrew it all and add glue, recrew the ladder, then let dry for about 6 hours.

I grew up sharing a bunk bed with my 5 siblings in a rented home. Older 3 on the top bed, younger 3 on the bottom one. We are well-adjusted adults: 2 PhDs, 1 Master's working in Wall Street, 2 engineers, 1 Judge. I would have LOVED such a cute bed! You are doing just fine 😊

Four kids in one room isn’t bad, you do what you gotta do to survive! It’s obvious you love your kids and are making it as comfortable as possible for them! Ignore the naysayers!! Haters gonna hate! They’d really flip if they knew how I grew up 😂😂 we have 15 ppl in a 3br/1 bath house (900sq ft house). 8 girls in one room /4 boys in the other- mom & dad in the 3rd bedroom. We were all really close (I was the middle kids & moved out when I turned 16) I needed my own space lol😅 8 ppl in one room was extremely hard

Imagine saying abuse to someone who atleast cares for their kids. Like not everyone in our world’s economy can afford a house for so many people. At a stage in my life I shared a room with my mom and sister and I was happy my mom put in everything to make us survive.
