Hi, May I ask does it really matter what drill you use? Can you recommend a good drill product. Thank you

I just recently found your video and I'm glad I did because I just started doing gel nails and I was having a hell of a time trying to keep them on they kept lifting and I wasn't understanding why. I also don't have a brush on builder which is probably what I need to invest in

Thank you for this video! Question, does this only work for clear tips like the ones you used? Been having trouble with pre-colored press ons. The gel doesn’t “automatically” stay. I have to press it a little while under the uv light.
@TheBeautyVault15 күн бұрын
yes, you should only use clear tips for this type of application. the light can’t properly penetrate colored tips which may result in uncured gel which can lead to a gel allergy. only use press on nail glue for colored tips, hope that helps.

Do you have any tips for working with solid nail glue?? I like how easy it is to apply... but it still seems tacky after curing and dust sticks to it over the 2 weeks' wear I get out of it.

The curling rod tip just changed everything. I'll finally be able grow long square-shaped nails without having to build up the corners with product. Thank you!

Honestly……, it really is a genetic thing when your nails grow beautifully. It is not a myth, either. I learned that from a older friend, and at first I was exuberantly skeptical. So I asked a cosmetologist; she said you are born with nails that grow beautifully, and you care for them to keep them looking amazing, they always stay that way. It is in the DNA. My Mom had nails that would grow, and then break, and peel sideways, and straight across. She passed that on to me and my sisters, in her genes. That is why me and both of my sisters would rather wear acrylic, or polygel. I am trying to get the nerve to do my own polygel nails, I tried the other day. On my pinky finger. I absolutely bombed it. I watched your video just today, but the video I watched before I tried was well-informing, but se went too fast. I wish that I would have found your video that you did. I loved how you described each step. You didn’t make it sound like it would be super easy on the first try. I bookmarked it, so I can watch it again a few more times before I actually attempt it a second time.

So I use a Gel X glue to cure my nails on, I’ve never heard of builder gel but does it do the same thing? The glue I use is in a tube and so hard to cover the whole nail

I’m wondering why you maybe won’t do a clear acrylic overlay with gel base and top coat then designs etc. I feel like the acrylic will be strong like all the base layers of gel you applied before shaping
I've recently started to do my own nails like this. My natural nail was severely damaged after years of working as a dishwasher and I have always loved long pretty nails but I CANNOT stand acrylics, it drives me out of my mind, the thickness and the damage to the nail, it's horrible. But since getting out of post partum depression, I have found that doing my nails makes me feel so pretty and calm, so I've been binge watching your videos and learning to much from you. I apply your techniques and it makes it so much better and easier. THANK YOU!!!

Love your vids. 100% always come down to prep. I use a different brand glue and my press ons will last 4+ weeks if I let them. And i never wear gloves when doing dishes and love boiling hot showers too lol. I also quickly dip the press on once I have glue on it into clear acrylic powder for some added strength. P.S. There are a few press on glue removers on amazon that are my holy grails to get them off. The Makartt and the Glamnetic ones are my go tos.

You do really great work. I follow you. I actually transferred acrylic to gel because I saw your videos But I have a question. Recently, I have started using gel nail polish in my home. But can you please tell me that will it bring cancer on my skin or if it gets on my skin? What will happen?

Love your attitude and professionalism. Best tutorial by far. I was going to do acrylic nails using tips but your suggestion to do what back in the days I use press on nails with crazy glue as a quick alternative this is so much better., this option is one I find is much quicker and easier. Thank you for your time and for sharing . You rock woman !❤🎉😊

OMG!!! Why didn't I learn this before??? I can't do the acetone to remove, I've got eczema and it ruins me for weeks. You should repost this or draw attention somehow even more, especially for people like me who just can't handle the strong chemicals. 😊❤😊 Just THANK YOU!

I’ve been using your method and tips using Gelish products to grow out my natural nails and every single time I’m getting the free edge seperate from my nail within a day. I’ve googled and see lots about gel shrinkage but surely there’s a way. Any tips would be so helpful. Ps I really like this video format too x
