Do you have to wear protective gear like you would with resin?
@Blick_Art Жыл бұрын
No, gloves aren't required when using Liquid Sculpey, however it is recommended that crafters wash hands after use. Some artists choose to wear gloves when using Liquid Sculpey, however, to keep sensitive colors clean and to avoid leaving fingerprints in finished pieces. Hope this helps!

Beautiful, do you happen to notice a dip or bubbling up during the curing process? Also, have you cured longer than 15mins?

Do you have to fill the molds all the way to the top?
@Blick_Art Жыл бұрын
No, you don't have to. In fact, you can half-fill molds, bake, and top up with another color for layered effects!

Thank you for replying! Can i use mod podge to glue small pieces to wood earrings? Like the lace mold from sculpey?
@Blick_Art Жыл бұрын
@@EndlessLoveNyx We think Mod Podge might not be quite strong enough. In terms of adhesive strength, hot glue and products like Gorilla Glue are excellent, but they may not work for every jewelry application, especially where skin contact is likely. Some artists report success using liquid sculpey as an adhesive for sticking already-baked pieces to other materials, so that may be worth a test. www.dickblick.com/categories/crafts/jewelry-making/glue/

Thank you so much for your help! I am very disappointed! I tried my first Liquid Sculpey mold today and as it baked it formed bubbles! I stirred the liquid and in the molds and tapped it idk what to do
