I used 1-inch by 1-inch square tubing for my frame. The estimated price of the build including the engine was around $300

M Sese the black bar that controls the steering of the front wheels is called the adjustable steering rack.

whats the dis between the first front tie rod end to the other tie rod end? is it for 110cc? how long is the rear axle

I have already dismantled this kart but if I’m not wrong the width of the front is around 1m? Same goes for the rear axle. I forgot the cc of the engine already sorry!

haha currently it is disassembled as I had to move but yes, I recommend painting it as it began to rust.

Hi I have 3 questions: How many turns is the steering lock to lock? How is the steering column mounted and supported (I can see a post holding it up but not in detail) If you made this all at home how did you clean up any metal shavings/sharp debris after the work? I'm asking because I have very limited space which is shared with other people. Thanks

Sorry for the late reply, the steering turn is around 360. It was around one full turn, probably less. The steering column is mounted by a metal tubing consisting of two bearings for the turning of the steering wheel. This cylinder is held up by a length of 1 inch by 1 inch square tubing. The cylinder and other intricate parts such as the rack and pinion. The chassis was built at home. There were a lot of debris that needed cleaning after every session. This does require a bit of space and is a pretty messy project. Hope I helped.

Shimano 4 speed auto ya I mean if you have like a old vacuum you can probably just. Vacuum it, but i broom it since I’m outside. If your in a garage though where the cement is smooth vacuum it. Also if it’s outside you might just be able to use a magnet and go over your workspace.

Don't ever weld heavy just little tack weld if you weld heavy and like if you want to change you will just have to restart

Thank you for the advice Clorox bleach! I did tack weld in the beginning except I eventually realized that I did not have the correct equipment to make the adjustments needed so I stuck to the wonky shape.

I don't have suspension on the front wheels. I only have one set of suspension holding up the whole kart. It works really well.

I assembled the Go Kart with two portions, the front, and the back. This is held together with nuts and bolts. This allows it to pivot on that point. The suspension holds up both ends allowing the middle to not scrape the ground.

The parts were purchased on a Chinese online store called Taobao so I am unsure of what the English names are. The parts for this go kart can be found on www.spidercarts.com/. I built the scorpion with a modified rear wheel shaft due to the lack of material.
