DIY Gong Drum (mounted bass drum)

I actually did this with my huge 24 inch bass drum. It was so simple. All I did was stick a Pearl Tom mount onto a multiclamp and put the bass drum on it. It worked so effectively that my band director is asking me to convert two others for our upcoming tour so we can use em on songs like Thuderstruck! Like you said, you gotta make due with what you got!

I make 16and 18 mounted toms by my next drumkit and 20 floor for Rock and metal.its not uncommon these days,you can have anything you like🙂and before 16 there are other sizes.
