Great 😂idea..i have a grcs..i would say the only flaw would be hit sits mounts flatt and dont hinge around the trees. .trunk..maybe get your fabrication guy to make some hinges and some angle iron peices.or steel ..with pins..essentially thats what grcs is and has semi strap.but the mounting.is important they had isdues when designing it..greg spoke about it.just wish grcs had little more lift power..had mine come loose the strap on the trree at 45 degrees angle. Was a storm limb big one but didnt have it crakned down enough ..still worked but.the hinges make difference on the plate

@@Sethhaun78 Thanks. All great ideas for sure. I had some teeth made for the back where it sits against the tree. They are welded on an angle to fit the curve of the tree. It works good without moving. It mounts really snug around the tree while following its natural curvature. I had my metal guy bend it on a curve to accommodate it. Thanks again. Take care. Be safe.
