That’s a good idea. I helped a buddy of mine put up one of these sheds and we spent a good portion of the day running them in with a piece of rebar.

That’s an awesome idea. You always come up with the most practical ideas for tools. I may need a shelter like that for my race car

Man that was a great video and a great idea! I need to install some anchors tomorrow and I was contemplating how to adapt my big 3/4 drive impact. Love your idea. I have a junk 3/4 impact socket. Gonna do the same thing. Jokes were great too! Love it! Thanks man.

Good idea with the expansion tank. I'll have to remember that trick.

Thanks for the video, getting to install some mobile home anchors for a carport, and was wondering if a air impact wrench would work, or if the shank on the anchors would twist too much for an air gun to work, now I know.

Nice I was thinking about this very thing recently. I had thought about building a socket to slip over the top of the anchor, but I think this is a easier way to do it

I never thought about using an air impact to run ground anchors in with. I always wondered how they run in the mobile home tie down anchors!

I hacked up a similiar thing for a SDS hammer drill to puond steel t posts.. I welded a SDS chisel to a socket, then a 12 inch pipe around the socket as a guide. The Bosch Bulldog pounds the steel fence posts easy.

Looks good, works good!! You could do the same with a piece of rectangular tubing that fits over the eye of the anchor... Your setup with the bolt may be more universal, but one made with tubing would be faster. Sometimes for jobs like this one, a drill works better, impacts don't always work well with materials that give too much. Thanks for the video!!! And thanks for the words of wisdom 😂🤣😎

Why not just cut a slot in a big impact socket?

Chrome sockets are not made from impact rated steel, it is why they are prone to cracking.
@bobmoore52425 ай бұрын
With ground like that you could screw them in with a hand ratchet, no cheater tube required. I would have to cut the auger down to to half inch slivers and pound the anchor in with a 8 pound hammer, never to be retrieved again.
