Sandy, you are the best crafter that I can't wait to see a new video. You are my kind of primitive creator. I am learning a lot from you. TFS

You’re so creative. I know I’ve said that before but you are! Love how you do the candles. They’re definitely primitive looking n I love that. I remember you showing how to do the bulbs n I’ve mean meaning to do that. So glad you left the link so I don’t have to go hunting for it. ( thanks Sandy) Hope you getting things ready for your store. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍🌟

I painted a bunch of hanging candles that I had hung up tog and they'd been packed away and no way cld I untangle them so I spray painted them then covered with cinnamon and after they dried I sprayed clear coat...they all turned out great so now I have bunches of hanging candles thru my house that look old and primitive...I wld have thrown them away because they were whites pinks peaches and blues from when I was into cutesy country and not the prim I love now so worked out great! Love ur crafts sandy, they always turn out so good!❤️

I think there's a coding on the safety pins and on the Bells. And I think if you would just take like a emery board and rub over everything a little bit before you put it in anything I think that would help them rust immensely.
@sandyscountrycrafts5 ай бұрын
I'll give that a try. I did a little larger bell and it barely rusted.

love that cadle. you could make drips with hot glue before you paint it. that would look good too.

Wished I could remember to do the drips. I just finished a some candles and meant to add more drips but didn't remember until I was finished.

I have used several grubby mixtures like cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves and it looks grubby and bumpy!😁. I don't put it where I want to put a label however cause it isn't a flat mixture. Thank you for sharing your mixture recipe and technique with us!

Hi there Sandy🙋♀️These candles are absolutely perfect!! I’m definitely going to try them! I’ve tried making pins look rusty and never had any luck….ill try your method. I definitely want to check out your technique for making the silicone bulbs, there soo expensive to buy. Great job thanks for sharing ❤❤❤

Thank you Melanie! The silicone bulbs are not hard to make and yes they are expensive. Glad I found a way to make my own!

I made rusty bells a loooong time ago and I think I used bleach and salt and put it outside. I was so scared birds or my dog would try to sip it tho. And it was kinda sketchy b/c I didn't really know if it was safe haha This seems better and the bells turned out pretty good. I resorted to buying rusty once recently b/c I just didn't wanna mess with bleach. I'll have to try this next time I need more tho.

If I ever run across some at a good price I will buy them for sure!
