I really loved this video. My wife is installing a fireplace in our living room (electric, if we'd thought about it we would have ran gas here before we finished our basement, but now we have people living there and I don't think they'd love having their ceiling all tored up so we can run a gas line across the house) and ran to her dad's to grab an oscillating milwaukee because of how useful it is. She had some trouble with it cutting a hole in dry wall and I just happened to pull your video up and see how you did it so I sent it over to her. Pretty timely lol. Fantastic video, looking forward to the inside finish. Only complaint is the sound issues, which I'm sure is probably your only complaint too.

Thanks for watching! Yes that tool is good for so many things! You the wind messed with the audio big time. Had both mics on and only one had the dead cat muffle on. So the wind was ripping through the other mic. Thanks for the feedback it's appreciated!

So I just put hardie board on the exposed wood not under the whole window, seems like that is gonna cut off the sides of the window when you add the tile all the way around

Wow! Nike should sponsor you cause you "JUST DO IT" lol. Well done. I think in another video you had the electric shade put in too so you don't have to show the neighborhood what your working with? lol Shout out to your good buddy helping you out and taking the risk of having to pay for that $1,200 window! What a guy!

HPH…why did we choose a picture window? Why not a window to vent out some moisture? Course that might be a southern issue.

Good Question! Picture windows are much more efficient and have no moving parts because they don't open. Both positives! This house has an air exchange system that pulls fresh air in from the outside when the heat or the AC is on so that helps with moisture. Plus when the lights are on in the bathroom the exhaust fans automatically run. I have fixed "picture windows" everywhere in this house that isn't a bedroom. Bedrooms are required to have two exists so they have to have windows that open. Thanks for watching!
