I just started collecting Vandas and I will be needing lots of baskets so this was so helpful. Thanks for sharing such a great idea! Good job, it looks really good! :)

Def saves some coins! With the wire you could make rhizome clips or pot hangers as well =) I'm thinking of potting my vandas in cinders.. Love them but can't keep up with the daily watering. Thanks for watching!

I'm watching this video because I feel the same way. A vanda basket costs $1300.00 . I collects the tomato stakes from a nearby furniture workshop. Took them home and did my thing.

Damn you did a fancy sketch too! I made one just like this but I used wood glue. And I didn't sand the edges because I'm pretty damn lazy. So far it's holding up but not as fancy as yours. It cost almost the same as buying it so I just ordered it. Not sure if it's possible but Home Depot sells them online and you can order go pick up for free at their stores. They're not fancy either but they work.

Lmao! I'm a visual learner.. It gets pricey w s&h to Hawaii! I should've added bloopers cause I gon broke my sander! The sanders pad broke off and flew into my neighbors yard =P

How many 5’ stake did you used to make one basket?

Where did you buy the wire? What is the wire size?
@randyonmaui8 жыл бұрын
+Andrew Le any big box hardware store-got this from Lowe's. It's 12 gauge wire although I think you could get away with using 14 gauge.
