I made the face oil with a few substitutions starting with a nice coconut oil, blue lotus, peppermint (for astringent) and chamomile. I had a little crockpot that went up to 170 F. After a few hours the herbs were black and after 10 hours, (with stirring) they looked quite charred so I turned off the pot, strained the herbs out. Then I melted some organic unfiltered shea butter, mixed it all together with frankincense as the scent. 💚 it smells nice and leaves my skin very smooth and moisturized. I’m just not sure if the herbs were supposed to get black/burned. Hope you can let me know. Thanks so much for the video.

24 hours in crock pot or 24 hours on double broiler, not to exceed 70degrees or the oil and herbs burn

Hello Anima. I have transitioned from my daily face creams to face oils. I would like to create a blend using rosehip, marula, jojoba, argan, vitamin e and frankincense oils. I understand frankincense is an essential oils and needs to be used as a ratio... can I mix the other oils in equal parts, as in 1 teaspoon of each oil? Is there a limit of number of oils I can mix together? I have read about the benefits of other oils too and my goal is to make a blend which will benefit my skin with the properties of each oil. Could I add rose oil to this mix and what would be the ratio? What would the ratio of essential oils be to 1 teaspoon of carrier oil.. if using more than 1 essential oil, should the ratio be divided between the oils or measured separately?

Can you leave it in the sun instead of cooking?
@animamundiherbals4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! The best would be around 1month in a sunny window.

@@animamundiherbals Any difference in the expiration date or the strength of the medicinal properties between the double boiler method and leave it in the sun method?
@Chrisy-vg2pw8 ай бұрын
This would cost about $200-300 to make? Lol I really want to make oils but they are so expensive these days
