Loved seeing the make overs again, I had you on the tv in the background whilst I was bleaching old wooden chopping boards and having a change around in my French country kitchen. I got my hubby to hang one of my old walking sticks ( it’s a very old beautiful bamboo one with a lovely patina ) on the wall above my Lacanche cooking stove to hang some quirky cooking utensils and it looks so good, I’m sure you’d approve 😉 Can’t wait to see what you get up to next time 🥰

Hello sweet friend! Its so good to see you & Bertie!😊 I hope your family had a wonderful Christmas & New Year! I'm sure sweet Bertie was spoiled!🐶 I pray that 2025 be full of joy, love, prosperity & many blessings for you & your family!🙏🏻❤ I loved all the green, it was def beautiful!And my fav color!💚 Ohh the chair between the gorgeous hydrangeas.. magazine worthy! But so is your entire home!😊 I loved the striped coral/salmon color fabric you used for summer, very pretty! But that piece of fabric you chose for autumn, with the embroidered leaves, uhh gorgeous!😍 These are my fav pillow cases, although all are beautiful! And of course it does have that beautiful green side, that you also used.😉 And even the dyed covers are beautiful! Oh yes.. wax can certainly be our best friend.. or addiction! Lol either way its the best! Between watching you & another channel i love to watch, where she does small DIY projects, you both love using the wax. And now, I'm loving it too! I age/darken pieces all the time!😁 Wax just makes the biggest difference, and transforms a beautiful piece into a gorgeous piece!😊 But the beautiful green pieces.. Are still a shade of green, and I love it!💚 Now while i obviously prefer the dark wax, because it makes a piece beautiful but also ages it, i do like the white wax on certain pieces as well. But Its really nice to know someone else that loves wood as myself!! And any pieces, especially old pieces, made from wood, small or large pieces, we just love all the wood pieces!😁 Its almost an obsession!🤷‍♀️ I do like things painted, but natural & stained where you can see the actual wood grain.. yes please!😊 The Big Sexy Beast bowl was just one piece that i drooled over!🤤 I love mirrors too Tracey, but i don't have but a few. The apt we lived in up in Tennessee was very small, i didn't have much room for them. I had told you we were living with my son in Florida for about 6-7mths while we looked for a house. Well we will be moving into our house in the next few wks!! I'm so Ecstatic!! Its in the country with a big fenced yard for the grandkids! Its not huge by NO means.. but the biggest home we've lived in since we left NC over 6yrs ago! Ohhh I can't wait to start decorating!😁 Can't wait to get all my things brought from storage in Tennessee & find out what we'll be needing. I do know i will be looking for an old hutch very soon! The stone affect that you do on your pieces is one of my very fav techniques that you do! I personally haven't tried it yet, but once i get into my own home & have room to do things, I'm almost sure I'll try this one out..on some bowls & vases/vessels! I love the look it creates!❤ For whatever reason one of the things i love collecting most, besides wood pieces, is lamps! Mantle clocks, brass pieces & lamps were the first antiques & old vintage pieces i started with. The lamps you did the stone affect on at 1:14 are gorgeous, i love them!😍 Of course i love your hydrangeas, they're just stunning! I also love how you use them in your decor & you're not afraid to change the colors, and do a great job of it! Another thing I love is adding chicken wire to wood pieces. Its beautiful in the center if a wood door replacing the glass, on a hutch for instance. Or doors of small decorative cabinets, on boxes or, as I said, most any wood piece that is a box or cabinet. I actually have a cloche made of chicken wire i bought at an antique store, i love it! What you did with the box & chicken wire for the table centerpiece, with the greenery, was genius!💚 Your Winter/Christmas decor this past year..i have no words.. stunning, absolutely stunning!🤩 The part of the tour after dark with all the lights was phenomenal!! I can still see it! My favorite Christmas home tour of 2024..no doubt!! Oh yes mam..rub & buff is a must have, just like the wax. 2 products i won't be without! Mod podge is another i keep on hand as well, but don't use near as much as the other two. Rub & buff and wax can transform most anything & make it beautiful, or just how you want it to look!😊 Back to the mirrors.. I'll def be looking for some more for my house, and my fav look I'd the ones with beveled edges! Its just a gorgeous detail!❤ I like layering a mirror with other mirrors, empty frames, art pieces, wreaths.. just so much you can do with A mirror in your decor! The piece you put together with the that gorgeous single bed headboard & that large mirror is probably my fav outside piece that you have ..i absolutely love it, so much!!😍 Picture frames are one of my fav things to find & pick up.. wood, metal, plaster, any material can be made beautiful! And it doesn't matter about the art that's in a frame! Just like I pic up art sometimes & don't like the frame! But the more ornate, the better!😊 And of course you can't decorate a space without old books! Now they are the most versatile pieces, they can be used in many, many different ways! And the older & more tattered & weathered the better!😊 I actually get some very pretty art from books, and with a little mod podge technique, looks just like a real oil painting!😉 The gorgeous gift you made for your daughter.. well umm can you possibly have another daughter that's older than you?🤷‍♀️ Personally..i love anything made of brass! I have quite a collection of brass! But..NO shiny! Every piece has all the beautiful patina! Candle holders, picture frames, vases, baskets, bowls, scuttles, pots, lamps, decor pieces and the list goes on! Which most are older pieces anyways. Well i thoroughly enjoyed this! Yes I've been a big chatter box.. But it was just so fun! Tracey I must say, probably for the 10th time😄 you are one very talented woman & so good at everything you create & do! I love your home & every single piece in the home, on the outside of the home & in all your storage buildings! You, your home & all your pieces are just amazing! And even better, I'm so blessed to call you my friend! Love your channel & watching you create is always the best! And of course..i love sweet Bertie too!🐶 I pray you have a blessed week & I see you next week my friend!🙏🏻 love & hugs❤🤗
