the lead in to the infeed adjustable table is fixed at the same height as the outfeed table... the only way you can take off material is by pressing down really hard so the infeed wood part bends... correct me if i'm wrong but this needs more work...

@@brycestanhope2258 yes it has a side button like driller motors. I press the on button first and then I press the side button next to it to keep it on.

Is infeed table lower than outfeed part?

He used a palm router to reduce the infeed side from the underside, which raises the position of the planer, so that should have that effect.

This simple method of making a jointer from a plainer, gets around many of the not so safe or stable builds I've viewed on KZbin to mount the plainer. First person I've seen using the angle iron method that guarantee 90 degrees for the fence. Great design I will use this method for my build and add a wooden frame for durability below your design this will inprove my current jig.
