I haven’t watch you for a while James and Ness. Our house is done there in the P.I. And finally my husband can come and visit our house. I stayed more than 3 months in Pampanga to see and manage the construction even though I have a contractor. Hi James, just my thought, what about heat dissipation in that closed box? It will be operating in hot weather plus the internal dissipation, maybe you should consider a thermal protection which would shut off the system.

You would have to verify the correct voltage and current of both the power supply and amp input.

I’m about to do the same thing and was wondering how well the Alexa is working in practice. It seems like a lot of sound would get blocked.

It's working better than expected. We use it every day to provide ambience music to the yard and garden. One caveat, we don't use the Echo Input to speak our commands to but one of the many Alexa enabled devices throughout the house. I think we have at least 8 here at Villa Feliz.

No. 3 years running. I have 2 fans installed but found it's not necessary so I unplugged them. If you were to install this in direct sunlight I would recommend you taking advantage of the fans I installed.

I would bet that box was meant to have a back plane installed onto which you mount your components. That is the only way to produce a universal enclosure. No one can predict where you'll need to screw things in.

What's nice about these rock speakers, they're directional. Just point the sound towards the house from the perimeter and no one will be the wiser. 👍🏼

Input power solution is not appropriate for outdoor use. Have a professional electrician wire the 115V supply to you box.
