Thank god I came across this video. I nearly went to the Land Rover dealer. I bet they would have charged me a small fortune for a new fob. You're a star Rob!

$450. Yup. I was going to put in an after market remote starter but you have to sacrifice a fob to do it. Changed my mind after the fob quote.

You and me both. I'm sitting in front of auto zone paying less than 6$ if this is why key doesn't work, I'm on my way to Land rover to engage in fist of cuffs! Manager told me to tow the vehicle in. I will say that I also have the permaplate coverage to get a free key within a year. I only got 1 key with my vehicle.

5 years later and this video just saved me a small fortune. Went to the land rover dealership and the quote they gave me for 2 new fobs (yes my spare is also dead 🙄) would require me to sell a piece of my liver.
