Thank you. Got a BMW 328i that I am flipping and the previous person was a smoker. The process you provided also worked on carpet but I just cut some fibers from under the seats and dapped those in with the fabric glue. Thank you, I will be using this process a lot on the other cars I flip. Fabric and Carpet isn't as scary now.

this would be your best bet, you can mix the colors to make it so you can match what your interior has. So, My seat is a black fabric with the vent holes in it. 2020 Durango SRT seats. I plan on trying to find a kit to match the black-I’ll dig thru your stuff to see if you recommend a kit-i dont care about price-so my question is do i stick something in the vent holes(that is same size as vent holes) and then do this procedure then wait for glue to somewhat dry and then remove my vent hole sticks so that it has the matching holes? Or do i do the holes after the repair ? Or as it’s drying a little. Great video-that was amazing

Hey Raelene, Yes a fabric glue should work just fine! Worst case scenario, the fibers you put in will get pulled back out if the glue doesnt hold, in which case you can just start over!

What about cloth seats? Just noticed a cigarette burn in my passenger seat. I'm never gonna get a, match 🙁 it's a cloth seat patterned grey with stripes. Any advice. Don't think shaving any fibers will work.. Help...

Yeah unfortunately its hard to do with a fabric that has any design. However if you just fil lit in using the main color it should look better than a hole

Lush X Maybe using fibers of the lightest part of the pattern for the base fill then try some fine point Sharpie's for matching the pattern..?

I ran out of gas in my rental in the middle of winter and it was freezing cold and I had a torch and it had a locking mechanism and I was falling asleep and I dropped the torch and burned a quarter size hole in the front driver seat and it's a Kia K5 2021 2022 all black cloth material and I'm desperate to figure out how to fix this kind of basically this is terrible but get away with it so I don't get in trouble any advice or your solution help on a whole that big I can send you a picture

I don’t think it would.... typically with dashboards you need to use a special compound to fill in the area and then re color it

the fibers are larger than the fibers of suede, but it would still do a good job of blending so you dont see the damage
