Actually, no - that's a product from a third party. I have no connection to their suede cleaning brushes. Just a tip from the industry... it's better than similar consumer products.

You're not suppose to scrub them that hard. Be gentle because you don't want too much of the suede to come off. Also water and the ugg cleaner is highly recommended to keep life in the boots. And of course afterwards the water resistant spray to protect them. Keep the inside looking great too by gently brushing the sheepskin, and spray the ugg refreshner to keep them smelling good. Lastly, doing this experiment on the kitchen counter isn't a good idea. People must eat and prepare meals on them. So I feel these tips from this guy was thoughtful, but not needed, at least not in my case. I own 5 pairs of uggs, and they all look new. I had them for some years now, and I do take care of them using the cleaning (ugg) kit as directed.

I have 2 pair of UGG slippers, One pink and one tan that my friend in OZ sent as a gift. The tan pair needs cleaned. A dry cleaner in my city told me of a married couple in Orrville Ohio who does this. I called her and she said without looking at them she could not tell me an exact price but it would be between $15.00 and $20.00 I think that sounds reasonable.

The tanning process for suede and leather is all done in water. Water will carry away dirt and soul and also carry conditioners and oils back into the skin.

Uh okay... let me just scratch the hell out of my $150+ shoes and remove a whole layer of the boot. Please don't do this. Use the care kit that you can purchase for $20 from UGG Australia. Follow the instructions that come from the company that actually makes the boots.

I'm from Argentina (south america) when I bought mine on a trip to California in 2011, I also bought that kit for $20, but I have never used it. My UGGs are more or less like the ones in this video (super dirty) and I've never cleaned them (in CA when I purchased them, they did put that spray to protect them), I'm scared I might ruin them, and there're no UGG stores down here, so it's not like I can go and ask for advice on how to clean them, Helen Pegler have you used that kit? if so, how did you clean yours? were they ok after you did it? thank you so much
