I am so happy I found this video. Thank you for recording this, because I have to do this kind of repair myself and never thought of the new 2x2 1/2 supports.......I don't know why, but I should have! This has saved me a whole lot of time.

Nice! We have a spot right in the middle of our floor that just seems like it’s cone unglued so it makes a loud pop when you walk on it. I’m afraid to pull up 20 sqft to check it though

Overall great repair. The only thing I would suggest is using a good contact cement to glue the flooring back down instead of the staples...or eve a linoleum flooring cement...that ensures an even bond all around. My two cents for what it is worth!
