My son was given a MX400 from a friend down the street. I have the bike torn apart for cleaning and to replace the tires. (The rear tire was cracked and the tube wouldn't hold air so I'm just doing a total tire replacement.). It's a 2013 according to the sticker so I'm wondering about the batteries; I checked and they are 27.2 V before and after turning the switch on. That seems okay but I'm just worried about the age. 7-years seems pretty old for batteries. Also, a vendor out there is pushing a 9 Amp upgrade. Thoughts?

Having similar issue w/my son's mx350... Power button glows red, batteries are charged (and show 28v). When turning the throttle, all I get is click sound from the control module and zero movement from rear wheel. However, if I hold the throttle full open and then rotate the rear tire with my free hand, the rear tire will spin, but once I let go of the throttle (and the rear wheel comes to a complete stop) the throttle reverts back to causing a clicking sound from inside the metal controller and the wheel will not turn from a dead stop :(

My husband has the Mx350 and has the same problem turns on light once turned on but once he tried moving the throttle nothing happens after that. Does he have to be moving to give it a push start to get it going?

Hi, i have a hyper 350 and everytime my son starts it the motor is tripping and it needs to be resetting every minute. The fuse is ok, i replaced the motor for a new one, i took out the brake and still is happening the same, what could it be?

You have to push to start moving on the mx350. That’s why it goes when you spin the wheel and then hit the throttle. I don’t think you have an issue.

Mine doesn’t clock either. Changed the battery and turned on. It worked for a second and won’t work anymore. Noticed the on switch did not light up. Any suggestions? Bought it new for Xmas few weeks ago

Hey man, I have new batteries and a new controller in my son's mx350. It worked great for a day and then it started clicking while he was riding it. It doesn't do it without him on the bike (if I lift up the rear wheel and turn the throttle). Any ideas?
@Fentertainment4 жыл бұрын
I would start testing the batteries and the controller. I wish i could magically tell you what it is but i cant. If it was here in front of me i would still test it.

I got all brand new batteries and controller and throttle and I got it to work but it only will charge if I change them individual but when there in series they don’t charge
@Fentertainment3 жыл бұрын
Sounds like either the charger is a 12v charger or the 24v charger is going bad. Look at the charger label for the output voltage. There will be a input voltage and output voltage on the box that plugs into the wall.
@Angela-mf3sk3 жыл бұрын
@@Fentertainment it’s a 24 volt charger I bought a brand new charger for it and that doesn’t work either so it can’t be the charger
@Fentertainment3 жыл бұрын
@@Angela-mf3sk New batteries and new charger...hmmm. Is there a fuse-able link between the batteries like stock? If so make sure the fuse is good. If its good and you have tested the batteries with a volt meter you should be getting around 24v's. You would also need to test the charger output to make sure its supplying 24+ voltage output.

Would 7.5 work or it has to be 7ah
@Fentertainment6 жыл бұрын
Halloween Michael Myers 2 7.5 would actually hold the charge longer
@halloweenmichaelmyers286 жыл бұрын
Fentertainment so it's bad
@Fentertainment6 жыл бұрын
The "ah" means Amp Hour. Make sure the voltage is the same and the "ah" is no less than the original. IF you replace a 7ah battery with a 7.5ah battery then it will last longer per charge. If you get less than 7ah then it will last less per charge.
@halloweenmichaelmyers286 жыл бұрын
Fentertainment so a 2 battery pack of 12 Volt's 7.5ah would work
