Constructed in an area separated from the garden by a wood fence, concrete blocks from scrap wood for the foundation.
The foundation is made of scrap concrete blocks and the top is wood.
I was wondering if I should use bricks or wood, but I chose wood because it is easier to clean up.
I used Nippé's bumpy base for the foundation blocks and treated the surface.
The texture is similar to white mortar, and I think this is easier to install.
It is for indoor and outdoor use and can be painted on concrete.
I'm not sure how durable it is, so I'll keep an eye on it to see how it wears.
The upper frame is made of 780 yen bundle of rice pine rafters, leftover 2×4 lumber, and
The top frame is made of a bundle of 780 yen rice pine rafters, leftover 2×4 lumber, and 75mm square lumber that has been permeated with preservative under pressure.
Because of the material procurement, I decided to use a two-piece center structure.
Since the strength of the center part is inevitably low
Therefore, as reinforcement, we added aluminum plates and L-shaped 1mm thick plates.
Since the stress against soil pressure is in the tensile direction
However, I was concerned about the stress on the pressure side that would occur if it were to be placed on a shade tree.
However, I was concerned about the stress on the pressure side that would occur if the plate were to be placed on a shade tree, so I changed and added an L-shaped plate in the middle.
I added 35 mm of Kanelite foam to deal with the soil pressure (stress) on other surfaces.
I didn't care about this, I could have used styrofoam or ordinary (white) styrofoam.
I could have used Styrofoam or regular (white) Styrofoam, but as you can see in the video, it was sold cut into pieces, so I used this.
The only thing I had to decide was the thickness so that it would fit the frame perfectly.
I used the thickness of the wood of the frame as a guide.
Butyl tape is used to hold it in place, but I've used aluminum tape to hold it in place in the past.
Butyl tape is used to fix the frame, but in the past, I used aluminum tape, and it peeled off easily even after degreasing, so I decided to use butyl this time.
I used the cheapest white material without regard to the color, because the inner wall material will come on top of this.
This is a video of the foundation and frame assembly.
It was supposed to be a quick and easy project, but it took a lot of time.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I think it's a good idea.
